The kiosk issues the ticket. At the desk, personal details and services are checked, anything missing is added and the patient is registered.
akea connects to every diagnostic imaging machine: CT, MRI, X-ray, OPG, mammography and ultrasound.
Acquiring, processing and storing 2D and 3D images becomes simple. They stay safe for as long as the law requires and can be consulted even after a machine has been replaced.
One archive for all the centre’s images, easy to use and free from manufacturers’ lock-in: changing equipment doesn’t mean changing system.
Reporting and signature
Doctors log in with their own name and find only the exams assigned to them, with the images, the specialist’s notes and the technician’s. They write the report and sign it digitally.

No. akea runs in the browser, at the desk as well as in the consulting room.
akea sends the worklist and receives images using the DICOM standard, the same used by CT, X-ray, MRI and OPG. During the analysis we check how yours are configured.
Archived exams are registered in the new PACS before the switch. On the day of the change the machines keep sending exams without being reconfigured.
